Saw the other thread about AC fitment, didnt want to get the  :jack: thrown at me;

I am working on a Stage 1 for my non-CVO 09 EG with 103

Have the CVO take-offs installed (THANKS DOOFUS!! :coolblue:)

Looking at AC options now;

I like the CVO AC look better than stock..

Will the newer CVO AC work on a 09 electra 103 without many mods?

I saw some comments about better to have the 'paper filter' than the ventilator?

Looks like that would save me some $$

Will this AC provide me with benefits comparable to say, a Big Sucker kit?

comments? best year to look for?

(Still have to figure out the ECM/Tuner bit)

Sorry you didn't get any input, mastergunnera8 ....  If I knew the answer to your question, I'd have responded...

As far as the tuner goes, you may want to give the Revolution Performance EMS a try.  I've heard nothing but positive reviews so far!   And it's an easy install.  No laptop required - no tune required.  :2vrolijk_21:

Been looking at the reviews/posts...only thing that concerns me is the warranty implications...

thought about doing the REV and buying another ECU and keeping it in the saddle bag, but I don't really like 'hiding' the fact of using another product and trying to claim a warranty issue should one arise... especially if it would be the 'tuner' that caused the problem.

The tuner maze is a difficult one!!

thanks for the response!!...I'm just trying to make my ride a little different...while on a budget..

Ride on!!
