2-1 pipe choice
« on: September 28, 2010, 09:40:01 AM »

i currently have a fulsac x pipe with 2" slip ons on my 09 ultra with a  hillside 107,,  i really like this set up  i had a d&d fat cat with qt baffle on my 07 ultra,  it was great  but noisey,  im looking for more torque again  on this bike ,  ,  the new fatcats now have the concetrinic baffles. ,  im thinking about another one again,  also i have been reading about RB  black hole  2-1  and it seems they are the best 2-1  pipe on the market  now  and very quiet with  great torque and power,  best of both worlds, ,  ive read many many good reviews about both,  dont like  the pro pipe , or s.trapps  had both in the past,  looking for opinions on these two great performing pipes .

I had the LSR Black Hole 2:1, great workmanship. At that time lengthy delivery, do not know about now. Also quite pricey, if I remember.

I had it on my Road Glide with a Jims 120, at that time Matt Gross was tuning it for an article for Hot Bike. We found that the HP and TQ were below expectations. After experimenting by placing a piece of plywood covering a section of the tail pipe both, HP and TQ climbed drastically, however otherwise it was difficult to maintain that HP and TQ consistently without modifications, so I went back to a V&H Pro Pipe, HP was 130 and torque was 134. Sold the LSR and the new buyer had better luck tuning that we did.

from other who have the system have been happy with it.
