Bike Shows
« on: October 22, 2010, 03:51:44 PM »

I need some help in how to properly showing my bike. I'm building my 08 Fatboy from the ground up and should be back together sometime in late November. I would like to have it ready to show in a custom car show in February. I know I can put it on a turn table with some lights and let it go but I was hoping to some of you guys have experience in doing it right.

Have never shown in a serious manner, but have been to many. The use of a few mirrors to show a well prepped area not usually seen has always caught my eye. Good luck in this dog-eat-dog venue.

Talk to Sid (Hotrodstitcher).  He does both car and bike shows.

The only thing that I would Suggest is not leave the Bike over night where you are showing it. My Friend showed his Bike ( a Custom Big Dog) In Hot Springs Arkansas. He won First place and left his Bike. The next morning is was gone and nobody knew or seen a thing. The Bike had Wild Hogs being chased by dogs. So Please be careful on watching your Bike......
