need help with solo tourpac
« on: October 10, 2010, 05:49:25 PM »

I am trying to convert my '09 king tourpac to the solo position, The move was easy, but I am not able to figure out the back rest. I have a chopped tourpac pad (52898-98A), but it stands off the face of the tourpac lid too far. I thought the lids were the same between the chopped and king. Do I have the wrong part, need to make something or ???

Thanks for your time.

The lids are the same.

Corbin makes a pad for the tour pack solo position that I have on my king tour pack and my wife has on her chopped tour pack. Although with a close reach seat it doesn't really serve for a back rest for her.  But I think it would be perfect for a chopped tour pack if it were behind a regular solo seat.

Does the standard tourpak pad work when you move the pak forward to the solo position? (King tourpak)

I do not want those arms to be there in the solo position.

The lids are the same.

That is what I thought, but the mounting brackets make the pad stand off ot the lid for some reason. The Corbin pad looks good, but Terry Williams is making a pad for me.

Thanks for the input.
