I bought a 1973 Norton Commando Combat in 1979 for $250.00.
Spent another $200.00 on it to get it right.
A local Norton expert said there was no such thing as a 73 Commando Combat, they were only made in 1972.
He was right. Mine was a 72 retitled as a 73.
A very rare piece in the Norton world.
He wanted it real bad, offered me $2,500.00 and it was gone.
Great bike, would dust a Sportster easy.
$2,500.00 went a long way on a Harley in 1979.
