I was thinking of fabricating my own windshield similar to the stock one that would accommodate the 7" headlight and provide more coverage. While this is bigger than I would have gone it is very interesting.

I agree.....great bike!  And isn't that what we do with our bikes?  Make them truly unique and truly "ours" ?  A lot of $$Jingle tied up in that one but that is about what i was expecting the MoCo to do with the CVO Heritage that I waited 3 full years to see that they have still not built.  Now watch......next year they will build a CVO Heritage.....and I'll be tempted.  Oh, well............such is life.
He probably won't get out of it what he has into it but has definiitely been a learning experience and a one of a kind.  Who knows, maybe the right person will come along that has been searching for just "that" bike for years and years and will snap it right up!  We'll hope for that.......every "used to be my bike" needs a good new home.
