Fullsac Stage 1
« on: September 26, 2010, 04:56:57 PM »

I was looking at Fullsac's web site and the Stage 1 kit is interesting. I am sure I can install the pipes myself no problem and I can  change the baffles. I have no clue how to hook up or install the mapping system. The web site says its plug and play easy for the home mechanic. Does anyone have any experience doing this install and can you give me some input or walk me through it ?

Chit! they have a website?
Anytime anyone here has a question they just call Steve or post a question here and they get a fast answer.
And they have a website? WOW I'm behind the times. Just figured I'd call when I needed something.
From what I have been able to tell, their quality and service is second to none.
Hmmmmmm maybe I should look at Steve's website.

It is really easy...load the software on your computer, preferably laptop, update the software to newest version, hook it to the ECM, download your current fuel map to the laptop, upload new map to the bike.  Maybe 10 minutes if you take time for a beer.

I did the TTS download from Steve and about all I can do is email a picture.  So if you can do that you will be ok..
Install the TTS software to your computer.  After you get the pipes installed, call Steve and he will email you the correct map (there will already be maps in the TTS but Steve's will be better for your application).  Just remember to save your stock map (TTS will ask you that when you are about to download Steve's map).  Sometimes it can be difficult to do the download to the bike if you don't have the correct "com" port selected but there are directions in the TTS program to help you find and choose the correct one.  Good luck, well worth it.

On my '10 SESG, The plug you need to connect to is located behind the left side cover. Should be the same for the 2011 as no one had said any different.

It is very easy to do.  Nice thing is if you have any trouble, you can call steve and he will help.

The map down load was much easier than doing the baffles.

Takes about as long to take off saddlebag, remove side cover and connect to computer (maybe 2 minutes) as it does to download the tune.... :bananarock:

Dood2
I saw a video on youtube that shows you how.
Search for Master Tune TTS.
Remember to make a backup of your stock tune specs.
Looks so easy I am going to go with this setup
