My guess is that a Dyna or Springer (CVO) cover will fit a SEEG/SEUC/SERG/etc.... so I guess the answer to your question is no/yes... a touring CVO cover will probably fit another touring CVO, but a CVO Dyna/Fatbob/Fatboy/Springer/etc cover will not fit a touring CVO.

I didn't get the one that I was supposed to get with my Vrod, so I was figuring that the one from my Ultra should be a big and bulky easy slip-on over the Vrod.  I thought I would then just use my Exigent cover on the Ultra, but now it all comes back to me...that cover isn't supposed to be used for indoor storage.  Oh well...looks like at least one bike's staying uncovered this winter.

Yep ... can be used indoors and outdoors as a dust cover, but not as a cover for rain.

The CVO cover for my Ultra is an indoor cover and it is made to fit over the bike with the handlebars turned to the left.  I have an outdoor H-D cover for the same bike (not a CVO cover) that is made to cover the bike with the handlebars in the straight position.  I don't know if this is what prompted your question or not.  When I first got my CVO Ultra I thought I had the wrong cover because I kept trying to put the cover on with the handlebars in the straight position as I had done with my previous non-CVO Harley bike with the outdoor cover.

So, are the CVO covers designed to be used to cover your bike for winter storage too?

I would think the CVO cover would be excellent for winter storage in a garage or enclosed shed.  The material is soft fabric and non-water repellent so it would not trap moisture.  But if you are storing your bike in a carport or other shelter where the elements could come in from the sides, this is not the cover to use.

I have no idea.  They come with the CVO bike new.  I don't think the CVO covers can be ordered unless you have a CVO bike.  There is a heavy cotton cover in the H-D catalogue, part # 91685-98, that looks similar to the CVO cover and it lists for $129.95.  Hope this helps.
