Wow, and I thought a hard rain was bad enough (the feeling of being shot by "BB's"), I'd hate to think what riding in a hail storm would feel like. I don't even want to think about the sound of hail hitting my "tins".

Instead of BB's it's like a gauntlet of little guys hitting you with ball peen hammers. You won't be riding long unless you're proficient at riding on marbles. It is ice you know!
You were wondering what a use for one of those harley blankets was? Mines going on the bike for a hail blanket.
