What is a fair price for the 6 and 7 year extended warranties?

That's about what I paid, 5yrs extension with tire, rim, road hazard was around $2000 when purchased with the bike. I think it gets bumped up a little if you purchase it later.

Oh yeah, FYI that was almost $200.00 less for 3 years than any other HD quotes!

Just used the wheel and tire for a bolt I picked up on the 240 rear tire,would have been close to $400 for the work but had the warranty.Plus have over 6 years left to use it.So,you never know if you might need it.

I am now a big fan of the warranty. I hit a huge pothole at about 95mph. First I thought I broke all my teeth so i pulled over and saw a bubble in the tire. The warranty cost me $143.00. The tire, and labor was close to $300. and I still have a few years left. I paid "nada" "zilch' to get my tire replaced.

Is there a deductible with the HD warranty?  If so, does it vary by plan? 

I can get a 3 year aftermarket on my 2000 SE for about $1,100, with a $50 ded. per occurance.

the deductible is the same regardless of the length of the contract.  $50/occurrence.  So if you can rack up the problems and get them all done in one visit.    The wheel/tire warranty has a $0 deductible.

And once you have an item replaced under the ESP a subsequent failure will be replaced with no deductible.  Could work out well for items such as starters and stators.   These components tend to go out for those who rack up lots of miles on their bikes.
