You 48 haters wouldn't be whining if it was that no driving fool Dale Earnhardt!  I got so tired of watching him run 2nd for 499 miles then ramming someone out of the way for the win, and then all you idiot Earnhardt fans would say it was cause he wanted it more.  What a joke.  plus, add that to the fact that he abandoned his son and let another man raise him.  What a loser!

johnson....flonson.  Definitely Nascar's boy.  Puttin' Harvick to the back for 50.1 MPH on Pit-Road, suppposedly, is BS.  NASCAR picked the Champion before the Race.  >:( Later--HUBBARD

Carl, actually I thought NASCAR died with #3 and it's been Hendrick/Rousch SCAR ever since - - - just sayin

PS
I quit when watchin or carin the year the Dayona 500 was called a complete race after 355. Damn if the France family ran the NFL, the Patriots would have had a 19-0 season.

I'm fine with him, raised in a trailer park....now a zumillionaire. Hall of fame is going broke in Charlotte, wonder why?....1st 2 inductees, Bill France Sr & Bill France Jr............go figure. Between both of them they have led "0" laps in a NASCAR race.

If it wasn 't for Big Bill, there would be no NASCAR!

Yes, Sr was known as Big Bill France.
Bill Jr brought it to TV.

I guess that I'm the only one that thought that the pit-crew switch was bush-league.  So much for the "win as a team; lose as a team" saying.  I don't care that they are "under the same roof, corporation", etc., the 48 team threw the pit-crew under the bus.  No wonder that you can now buy tickets to any of the races on race-day (even the Bristol night race).  Nascar is no longer racing, just entertainment.

Nascar is no longer racing, just entertainment.

And you're just now figuring this out?  It hasn't been real racing for a very long time, ever since they constantly played with the rules to favor one brand over the others, and then played with the rules to make the races into 490 miles of boring cruising followed by 10 miles of stupidity and trashing of millions of dollars worth of equipment.  The current product put out by NASCAR reminds me of the stuff from one of the wrestling organizations.

In many ways, I agree. J J is a local hero here in Dago coming from El Cajon (childhood home of Cher and Kendra to name a couple) but a couple things stand out  A) the issue of swapping pit crews with the 24 car is something I totally disagree with. Not only is it a slap in the face to the entire team that got the 48 to a place where it actually mattered what happened in the last couple races, but it shows how the big money teams have a HUGE advantage over the small teams and that the independants are a thing of the past. B) I love the Yankees, but it doesn't bother me that they don't win the WS every year. Indeed, I like watching them struggle some years as they did in the 80's. I was happy for all my fellow New Englanders when the BoSox finally won a WS (sad that it was steroid tainted) But the great thing about Baseball and Football to name two professional sports is watching a team you never expected break from the pack and win the whole thing. Lately in NASCAR the prospect of a Robby Gordon winning the championship is about as realistic as my wife waking up one morning to me looking like Pierce Brosnan.
