LED Headlight
« on: November 28, 2010, 07:37:16 PM »

Does anyone know what the difference is between the Harley 7" LED Headlight for $524.00 and the Kuryakyn 7" LED Headlight for $264.00. Is there any performance difference or just price ?

YES I do believe the kuryakyn is just the head light and Harley Davidson is head light and the running lights. Just orderd mine from Harley with the 20% off.

Nope, the MSRP $525 LED headlight from Harley is just a headlight.  Spotlights are another $380-something.

Other then the fact that these are made in the USA and contrary MoCo's PA preferred supplier country (i.e. China) I wonder if this is where they are getting these LED headlights:

Q:  What is the USA's number one export to China?
A:  Trash!  They loved our high quality trash. (not any longer).

When H-D first introduced this in the new catalog several of us were and are interested.  Someone was trying to figure out the lumens between the two but I have not seen any info.  From the looks it looks like the H-D and Kury are much different.  :nixweiss:
