Even if the correct fuel resistant o-ring was in that pack I wouldn't put HF crap on my bike.

Go buy your ORing from another source/place,,, it's all going to come from the same Country -- CHINA..  :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: And more then likely the same oring plant.. No doubt Harley is using the China brand in that $50 replacement hose :confused5:

Noses to spite faces?   Viton rings are viton rings.   HF is convenient and cheaper for some of those types of supplies.  Get branded JB weld for much less than elsewhere.  Threadlocker also.  Several other supplies. It's a store that hires locally and treats the local customers much better than has the local bike shop.  So why could I not use them for products whose quality I'm comfortable with?

Maybe to the first part and IIRC - I was referring to my actions and not suggesting that you or anyone has to do what I choose to do.


BTW, there are at least 2 US made o-ring manufacturers that I found when I was looking for replacements.
