Blew out my Knee

Well I did it today! Walking from my car into work and slipped on a patch of ice! Probably would have been better if I went all the way down but stayed on one foot and went to the other knee twisting my knee and ankle. Just got home from the emergency room. I severely sprained both. They put me into some ace bandages and on crutches then sent me home. I will see another doctor tomorrow to find out what happens next. One thing for sure I can't do my job on crutches! Puck! Timing being sitting here with ice packs on being pissed! My luck the weather will break and I will not be able to ride! If I were a horse they would put me down!

Hopefully you'll find out tomorrow that it's not as bad as first expected.  This winter storm that dumped the ice on you will only be a memory in a few weeks and hopefully you will be riding soon

Sorry to hear this Face.  My experience is that knees heal slowly and forever give problems after being abused.  Get someone good to look at it & follow their advice.  Damned ice.  :nervous: spyder

Turned my ankle a few weeks ago and it hurt so bad the lights went out for a moment.  :idea2:

Been there done that, get them to drain the knee in a few days and drink a lot of Brandy.  Hope you get well soon, if not let me know, my sister company is in KY and I can get someone to ride your bike and you can watch, almost as good as doing it yourself.  LOL
