Powerlet Wireless Thermostat
« on: March 07, 2011, 07:39:59 PM »

Installed a Powerlet wireless thermostat and receiver for my heated gear.  It comes with a small receiver that is hardwired to my jacket and gloves.  The wireless controller is a dual thermostat that can be mounted anywhere on the bike.  You train the receiver to talk to the controller and it can be used on any type of heated gear.  Pretty cool...well, make that hot.

Was just checking those out online yesterday. Only issue I'd have is moving between bikes; I guess I could just use velcro.

That was my plan, to use velcro.  The controller is pretty light weight so it should be a problem.  It's suppose to be waterproof.  I guess I'll find out soon enough when the weather breaks.
