Where to stay in the Adirondack Park?
« on: February 02, 2011, 01:39:26 PM »

I'm planning a trip for late July through Adirondack Park and would appreciate some suggestions of where to stay in and around Blue Mountain Lake.  I'm sure there must be some nice resorts along the route, but don't know which ones are really nice or just so, so.

We will be entering the park from the west and traveling along Route 28 which I've never done, but heard that it is an amazing road to tour along.
From there the next day we will be heading south on Route 30 and exiting the park at Mayfield.

Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.  :2vrolijk_21:

I've stayed @ the Shamrock Motel in Long Lake a few times. Nice spot. Its about 12 miles from Blue Mountain Lake.

I am heading up to snowmobile for 4 days in the Adirondack Park on Saturday.  For a one night stay, I like the Adirondack Hotel.  http://www.adirondackhotel.com/

Enjoy!
