That sounds to be the gist of it.
It's a shame that the America I knew as a child and even young adult, has faded into what were looking at now-a-days.
 So much madness. I'm glad my family is still together and coping with all the turmoil of today's country wide problems, as a family..

MYCVO...what I had to say was in no way directed at you or your ability to raise a family...in fact, it was not a personal thing at all, just simply my opinions/observations, based on dealing with these kinds of issues off and on for the last 30 years or so...in college as a counselor for Emotionally Disturbed Children, and now as an HRM person...I've seen and heard a lot of things from people.  I don't have the answer, but we can't go back in time, and we can't blame the government for all the ills in the country, nor can we expect it to solve basic human problems, other than to provide services which are needed by those who are in dire need, but only for those who will help themselves, after a little push in the right direction.

We've all got our opinions about this kind of stuff, but this isn't the place to go any further with this discussion, so enough said, I think.

Ghaz...I'll do the same... [smiley=drink.gif]  And I want our government to do everything it can to protect us from that kind of thing too. That is there JOB. Personally, I think in some ways things are more precarious now than ever.  It's kinda hard to defend against some nut who's willing to blow him/herself up...something is going to happen again, I just hope it's not on such a devastating scale as 9/11.  But, all those beaurocrats we have better get their heads together and talk to each other, and share information.

To me, it all just boils down to one Rule...and it's Golden.  My philosophy of life... [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
