Early Observations on New Haze
« on: April 14, 2006, 08:37:38 PM »

Well, I got a couple hundred miles on my new Haze.  Great bike but i can't say yet that it's blowing my doors off!  Still adjusting to the feel of the bike.  A lot different than my '04 RKC.

I do have a few questions on what I have observed thus far:

1.  The 103 seems to have more vibration in all gears than my '04 RKC.

2.  I also seem to get some clutch chatter when starting from a stop.

3.  Seems the engine gives off substantially more heat than the 88" in my RKC.

Are these all my imagination or can someone comment on them.

Thanks, guys.

"Great bike but i can't say yet that it's blowing my doors off!"

I Dont have an Ultra but I felt the same way about my 103" the first 800 miles.

Tune it and it will run - Once you get broke in get it on the dyno and you may feel differently.
