Smashin' Bugs in Washington
« on: April 28, 2006, 11:26:55 PM »

Finally got to take advantage of the weather and put on 150 miles to and from work.  It was a trip up to Bellingham from Everett, just north of Seattle.

In addition to wackin' some bugs I got to try out the new addition of my Clearview 9.5" smoked windscreen.  The ride was great mostly freeway with some side roads.  It was very pleasant other then the requisite fuel stop for $3.37 a gallon.  Reserve light came on and I went maybe another 10 miles.  She took 4.5 gallons so I will watch a few more fuelings and make sure the light is operating in the same range consistantly.

I didn't have time to take a pic of the bike or me, but the tulips are out here and the scenary is spectacular.

Bugs when I got home.

D00d, you got it, but I was just so happy the bugs were back out, signaling the beginning of good riding weather, I had to chronical them for posterity.

There you go, that's what I'm talking about. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] 8-) Bugs are good (that means you in the wind), but they don't have to stay there forever.
