WLA at Long Ride 2010

Went on a good run today, Long Ride was 3 years in the planning, riders came from all parts of Oz, most over 4000klms, some from Tasmania or about 6000klms. Started in three points, Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne. Melbourne crew picked up riders in Sydney and Brisbane and all parts between on the way, all met in Katherine in the Northern Territoy to finish in Darwin. We rode down to meet them and ride into Darwin, about 350 bikes all up. We had a police escort on the last part of the ride with the police blocking off the highway so we all rode in 4 abreast. Long ride raised money and awareness for Prostate Cancer and has raised over $150K so far, good cause for all men to support. Lots of Harleys and every other type of bike on the road.
