Not in the sunlight or natural light. Might be some under flouresent light.

One more thing, they want $49,990 here for this one.  Mind you the A$ is about the same as the US$, there is about $3500 in compliancing with Australian approved tail light, indicators, wiring harness, tires, and speedo, and about $3500 in shipping, so that gets it down to $43,000, what does it cost in America???  Racer DJ, what did you pay so I can tell: How bad am I being bitten by HD Australia?

I will keep my CVO FLHX for the local stuff....

Well The 12 step CVO program doesn't work....Maybe because my sponsor is my salesman and a friend. I paid MSRP no freight or prep and got high wholesale on two bikes that were perfect. I'm planning on using the new Ultra in business delivering projects and that will help. You have an awsome bike and will have a great choice for hot ridding or cruising in comfort. I sold my CVO Springer that my son had to give back to me to another Aussie here but I'll let him tell that story. It took him since last November till now to get the bike....shipping conversion and other time. If the color does it for you go for it!

Almost went with the red but with all the snow and ice in Indy I was OK to say not now. Rio Red is also great looking.

YES some do look purple.  Some people might not want to admit it or they have good matching paint.  Look at my post comparing the pieces under the other 2011.5 thread.  Pictures are worth a thousand words... :2vrolijk_21:
