Might want to consider the Revolution Performance EMS tuner....  Nothing but good reviews to date....

YEA, you dealer likes the pro tuner because they know they'll see you and your wallet each time you make changes on your bike. The beauty of EMS; is you can keep adding bolt on's, change this change that.. and you don't have to hassle with pulling your wallet out for another re-tune each time.. The system instantly readapts for any change you make as well as in your riding conditions... I honestly dont think it can get much better.  :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

You have just asked the question that has as many answers as there are efi tuning devices on the market!

PCV w/ Auto-tune, great option to consider.

I hope you realize that the dealer isn't exactly giving you an unbiased opinion based on extensive testing of all the various products available.  The dealer makes a tidy profit selling the Harley product, so of course he will tell you it's the best thing since sex.  Rest assured there are plenty of other solutions that are as good or better from the aftermarket.  TTS MasterTune is one of those, designed and made by the same folks who designed and made the original Harley tuner (SERT).  Then of course you have Power Commanders, ThunderMax, the REV Performance product mentioned earlier, etc.

What is your plan of action, a simple download of a map (waste of money IMHO), a real dyno tune by a highly qualified person, or would you prefer a auto tuning solution that probably won't require a dyno?  If you prefer the dyno tune option, the advice is the same we've been giving out for years now, find the person you want to do the tuning first and let him help you pick the device.
