« on: March 03, 2011, 10:39:48 PM »

All right, forgive me if posting from another forum is a no-no, but this is too good not to pass on! ust found this on the  Road Glide.org board.

Radio Shack 102dB Piezo Siren: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062405

If you want to get "fancy" with your install, the pins from this plug will fit the HD plug: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103805

Some great install pics in the above linked thread... stopping by Radio Shack this weekend!

Didn't you bike come with a siren? I thought all CVO's came with one, that was easily upgraded to the Smart Alarm with Pager??

Crusty...check with your dealer or your owner's manual...I'm pretty sure that was a stock feature on the '09 CVO baggers...it may have been manually disabled.

Checked owners manual and it says siren is optional. Just in case, I followed instructions to activate "chirp mode" and still nothing. Didn't bother to pull the cover off... I'm guessing they didn't come with it.
