Seat Advice Needed
« on: August 15, 2011, 09:34:37 PM »

I have a C&C solo on the way. What do you guys who run a solo do with the clear film that protects the fender from pillion marring?

Noharley,  I modified your post to comply with the one subject per thread rule.  I modified your title so you would get some answers.  The plastic film can be cut with an exacto knife and the portion you don't want removed.  Use an adhesive remover like Goof Off or a similar product.

Feel free to start another thread about your windshield question.

I removed the film on my SERK when I first got my C&C solo and pillion. +30000 miles later, no damage to the paint. The suction cups and carpet on the pillion do the trick. I do not have a lot of miles with the pillion on tho, couple thousand. FWIW
