This is good advice.  I have basically come to the same conclusion after finding out that my SERT can be upgraded.  I am heading up to see Dave today and set up an appointment for tuning after my SERT comes back.  Its a little chilly but FINALLY some sun!

I live in Doylestown.

I don't know how bad or long you have had this issue but if it were me, I would either wait til I came up with the extra $$ to take it to Dave or try to find the $$ now. Your basically gonna waste $325 plus tax and/or more now than taking it to Dave and having the bike done right. Where you located at? I'm in Bensalem and Buckingham.

I have a Super Tuner S.E. Pro with a black button. Is this a SERT ? That is what I asked for.  Does anyone know if it can be sent out and updated.? PR# 32109-08b
Thanks

I couldn't say for sure but I don't think so.  From looking at the website it seems only certain models of the SERT can be upgraded.

If you want to know for sure I would just give them a call.

If there is ANY button on the item it is NOT a SERT.

Check your Screaming Eagle Catalogs it will tell you what it is :)

I took a ride up with 10SE5 to bring Dave my old Race Tuner... he hooked it up to my bike and a computer, ran the qualifying program and Shazaam!  My unit is upgradeable.  So off it goes to the manufacturer as a SERT and home it shall be sent as a TTS Master Tune.  $99 upgrade (plus applicable shipping) as opposed to $400 for a new one.   :orange:

I'm looking forward to the install and subsequent bike tuning.  It was a chilly but good day to ride.
