Installed a set of Dunlop Elite
« on: August 05, 2014, 10:54:27 AM »

Hello;
I installed a set of Dunlop elites on my '10 FLHTCUSE5.
I went from Colorado to the Pacific Northwest Rally about 3,000 miles.  The tires handled Wonderfully even on rilled pavement I didn't expect that!  As I approached the rilled road I prepared for the wiggle and it didn't happen I hit several of these spots and all GOOD!  I also got to test these tires in the rain real good rain again they handled Great, the rain was so bad in Ft. Collins I had to get a motel room the streets flooded when I got settled in my room I saw on the TV that near by the rain was measured at 2.4 inches in 20 minutes!!  I am so glad I decided to stop.
Just an FYI on the tires I hope I get the mileage that others are getting we'll have to wait and see.
Boy do I love the feel of brand new tires....Hmmmmm

Ran a set on my old SG and loved them. Handled just as you described and the mileage was as well and maybe a little better. Reminded me a lot of the Avon Venom. Wish they would make them to fit my SERG

Put the American Elite on & have almost 3000 on them.  Great tire. As good or better than the Elite 3

I have to agree.  I've put about 4500 miles on a set.  So far I think they're the best tires I've ever run in all conditions...   :2vrolijk_21:

I wonder just how long that exclusive contract Harley has for your 18" rear tires lasts before Dunlop could offer it in the American Elite series.  They already have an American Elite for the front.  :nixweiss:
