For the 2011 SESG2, all speakers per channel are wired in parallel.

Can we go back to the original question? Those of you with '11 SESGs, can you hear the radio at 80mph? With a full face helmet?

Yes!  I'm nearly deaf in one ear and can't hear out of the other...Plus, I wear ear plugs (about 40 years too late) and even with a full face helmet I can hear the music at 80 mph+.  And, that isn't even turned up past 50% volume.

Mine used to be able to be heard with a full face, but unfortunately that is no longer the case as they say the amp is no longer putting out any sound.   Indefinite back order I am being told.   Dealer thinks hopefully that they have a line on one though /fingers crossed.

I hear mine and it is plenty loud and clear with just the hawg wired 120 watt plug n play amp and 5-1/4" Polk Audio marine grade 4 ohm speakers.  Easy.   :2vrolijk_21:

the radio on my 2011 SESG can be heard above a nuclear holocaust... it'll blare a lot louder than i'll ever need it too.  i'm running 4" RC Xhaust with no baffles and i can hear it fine.  so can the people 5 cars in front of me....
