Has anyone else had any problems with the ABS light staying on, I know I have a problem as I tried to lock the front wheel and was successful.  No tragedy or injury I just wanted to see if anyone else had this same problem.

I was told, when I got my first bike with ABS, that the light would stay on when your ABS quit working. As you have found out your brakes will still work but not the ABS function. Need to have it serviced by dlr. I understand there are several possibilties on ABS failure.

Thanks, just didn't know if there was a recall or service bulletin out for this problem.

Yes, I had the issue a few days after I purchased my CVO Softail. The front ABS brake line was getting pinched during turns and causing the light to stay on. Re-routed the line somewhat and the issue never occurred again. I informed H-D corporate of the issue.

I had to have the ABS controller exchanged (under Warranty) at some 20.000 m on my FLHTCUSE4 after all other measures had failed. According to the German importer rare but "not uncommon".
