Rinehart Xtreme True Duels for 2011 FLHTK ???
« on: May 06, 2011, 08:42:24 AM »

Does anybody know much on the Rinehart New Xtreme True Duals with 4" Mufflers ? I just bought a New 2011 FLHTK ( Electra Glide Limited). I am thinking these with a Zipper air breathe, and V Power Commander......Will make it sound better and give it a little extra........ any input is appreciated.....

Well, since you'll be getting rid of your cat in your head pipe, there will be a good improvement. Hope you like it loud, because it will be.

It will feel much cooler since you're going to a true dual, and it will have that nice true dual sound, but you will lose some low end torque with any true dual set up.

There is a thread here with good video of a member who had that set up, but then switched to a 2-1-2 Fullsac set up. He has video of both set ups.

I'll find you a link to that thread........

Hi,

I have the Rinehart system you are considering, along with the ThunderMax tuner.  I am very happy with the Rineharts, however one thing i have discovered on this site is that eveyone has an opinion and is willing and ready to offer it like they get a commission or something from some of the vendors....hint?  Just kidding, seems that way though with some of the bias.  Unless you plan on racing a $40k motorcycle from traffic light to traffic light, i think most of the difference you see in performance is minimal.  It comes down to sound and personal preference.  I ran Rush, D&D, Super Trapp, Samson, Rinehart 3 1/2" and Rinehart 4".  Took a while to find the sound and look i liked.  Spend some time at a HD dealership on a saturday afternoon, you will more than likey get a chance to see and hear different sounds.  Heres a picture in black if that helps, good luck
