Retro Classic CVO
« on: May 27, 2011, 11:13:47 PM »

Anybody besides me think a retro version of something like a Duo-glide would be a cool CVO offering? I have been looking for one to restore and thought about how Ford has reinvented the Mustang to look more like the original, the new Chevy Camaro that looks like the '69. Thought a throwback design with some modern touches might be sweet on a bike as well.

I think that will be the next "big thing" in customizing from guys like Yaffee/Shope once these 26/30" wheels get "played out"! :)

The 'Nostalgia' series which began in 1993 with the limited edition nicknamed 'cow-glide' due to hair-on cowhide on saddlebags & seat.  The next year (1994) was not 'limited' and they made a blue-million of this model in the white/silver. This model FLSTN has finally morphed into the Deluxe that is offered in todays line-up and is the MoCo's Retro approach to the Duo-Glide.   8) spyder
