These are the bolts that go in the highway/passenger pegs. I have been to 2 dealers, and looked everywhere online, nobody list's this size. Anybody??? I have tried all the standard places, Diamond can custom make some SS ones, but they won't be button head.

I have nice chrome bolts for my pegs that I bout a my local hd dealer. I didn't think they were anything special.  They cone with nuts and washers too. I can get the part number if you need it.

If you have the number that would be awesome. Both dealers only carry up to 2" in bulk, I can't find a kit in the catalog.

I found the bolts I used listed with the mounting kit on page 447.   I believe it's part # 94133-01.  And they come with bullet tip nuts and washers.   And of course they are pricey.   They are also shown on page  568.   $21.95 for the set.

Dang, I was hoping that was going to be them. I am looking for the bolts that go through the middle of the footpeg itself. All you see is the head of the bolt.$40k on a bike and none of the hardware is chrome.

Oh lord I make myself tired sometimes...... the bolt I am looking for is for the shifted peg not the highway peg. Sorry, I pulled them both apart and said the wrong one. The  measurement I gave is correct though.

Ahh. Shifter peg bolts!  One suggestion for hard to find bolts like that.  I go to a True Value hardware store about 15 miles from me.   They seem to have almost everything I could ever want as far as chrome or ss hardware. Good luck hunting.

Something to keep in mind is that plain old stainless steel bolts are much softer then the stock bolts (grade 2-3 for stainless vs grade 5 or 8 or the stock bolts).
You might want to consider using 12pt ARP SS bolts which are stronger then grade 8.  For this application, you might need to turn down the flanges of the 12 point a bit in order to fit.  Alloyboltz can turn down the flanges and polish the heads for a small additional service charge.  They are great to work with.
You always need to use a bit of loctite or antiseize with stainless and while ARP fasteners are stronger the max torque that a particular size can handle is lower.

I have to warn you that 12pts are addictive, once you start....

Well, I have tried everywhere suggested, I am guessing this size bolt is not made in SS with a button head. I am going by the dealer today to look at new shifter pegs, see if they come with chrome bolts, may buy a set and swap bolts and resell the pegs.

Nope, they don't list it either, BUT, I went by the dealer one more time, pulled a new shifter peg off the wall with chrome hardware, took it to a different parts guy, "oh sure, I can get that"

I should learn, never trust what the dealer says......
