I think the technology should and or will be realty in most vehicles within 10 years. When you look at the simple back up radar common in most new vehicles today, you gotta think; why not?  I have the back up warning in both of our cages, and there have been a couple close calls where I actually think it saved my Azz :nixweiss: in fact, I bet anyone having the the system can recall at least one incident where it has with them...... good story, thanks for sharing   :2vrolijk_21:

I'd have to see this one before putting any faith in it - like auto-parking vehicles.  It's just another way for cage drivers to be unattentive because they thought their car would take care of it.

I'd be more worried about this one:  http://www.gizmag.com/noise-snare-detects-loud-vehicles/18688/  The Photo radar for detecting loud vehicles and automatically sending tickets - just what the biking community needs.
