Has any one had or heard of sumping issues in a 110 after they installed the SE cam support plate?

Drive the bike around and get it good and warm. Come back to the shop and let it idle for 30 seconds. Stop the motor and pull the drain plug at the bottom of the crankcase (not the tank drain plug). Measure the quantity of oil that comes out. Reason I suspect issues there is nothing you did would have changed the tune radically, but if the oil pump was not scavenging correctly and or the new higher oil pressure was forcing more oil into the crankcase then it would present with the symptoms you describe, plus it would be down on power as it is effectively paddling through lots oil to run, this heats and aerates the oil too.
This is a dry sump motor and when they are working properly there is very little sump oil when tested as I described

If you have excessive oil in the bottom end, first suspect I would check is the o ring on the oil pump, this could have gotten crimped or cut or pinched on the installation of the new cam plate.

12-16oz is the max that should be in the bottom end when doing this check.

I thought that anything over 8oz was bad. Really want 4 to 6 max.

If that much carry-over is in the crankcase, and your on a dyno, you'd see documented evidence, of a power loss.
Not a lot, but some will be noticed.
When that is excessively loading the crankcase, 30-35 hp loss, will show up. :)

The factory spec is 12-16 max.  Know that as a fact.

Yep maybe, same company that has a spec of .012 maximum allowable crankshaft runout.
Get it under 6oz

I agree with Don.
6-8oz is where you want to be. :2vrolijk_21:
