I did a pre sturgis ride in April in after 50 inches of snow had fallen in deadwood.

Lifes too short too be scared of a little snow. Ok Deadwood had 50 inches the night before I arrived.

I can vouch for MAVERICK I live here.  They had 60 inches at Cheyenne crossing (entrance to Spearfish canyon for those of you that know).  It was a pain in the a$$ but we needed the moisture.
