Haven't seen much discussion or pics of these. JB's all about comfort. I have had the Kuryakn extenders on for a year and love the extra room - they move the boards forward as well as out/wide.
Sometimes I find myself hanging my heels off the back end, cause I like to move around on longer rides.
These banana boards give all the length up front, plus they extend back much further.  
I searched around quite a bit to find them without the rivets - at cyclesmith's website they only show the ones with rivets around the edge. There is also a new design for 2011, I think it's even longer.
I got these from native custom baggers: nativecustombaggers.com. Awesome service, quick delivery. I placed the order at 9pm pacific (midnight their time!). I got an email confirmation a half hour later, and they shipped the very next morning.

They are also as wide as the stock +Kuryakyn extenders were, so I took the extenders off.

Do they drag when in the curves?

Not yet! The clearance as just as good as the stock.
