Nut cuttin'
« on: June 28, 2011, 07:33:04 PM »

I wanna take my hedge clippers to the dealership and do some, after spending last hour and half removing my oil filter. Either the numbnut tech didn't change it out at 1k service (saw no evidence they tried), which leads me to believe the dork did change it. In any case, it is finally off, ruined my filter wrench, tried the old screwdriver thru technique, no dice either. So wiggled my channelocks in there enough to get a bite, and sloooowly, managed to break it loose. Geez, time for a cold  :drink: or two  :drink:

One of the reasons we use nothing but the K&N filters here. :)

Very soft hardware from the Moco.
Don't know why they do that other than manufacturing costs/planned parts replacement.
