Iphone4 cutting out.
« on: July 03, 2011, 08:49:00 PM »

I have a question about my iPhone 4.  I just bout a riders claw for the iPhone. For some reason it cuts out while riding then turns back on automatically. I have it wired into the bike thru a cigarette lighter attachment.  I have been running my iPod nano this way for a few years it it works fine.   Could it be that the iPhone can't take the vibration that the nano does?  I'm thinking that the nano can just take the conditions better.    Any thoughts???  Thanks.

Stu,
Is it the "Power" cutting out or is it a "Bluetooth" problem?  If it is power then I think I would clean the connector to the iPhone4 to make sure there is no lint in the connector.

Not sure if I solved my own problem. When I got the Riders Claw, I noticed the the iPhone was somewhat loosen in there.  I did put some electrical tape on the holder to snug up the fit.  Maybe I had it in there a little to tight. I took the tape off and it works fine now.
