I did twice but everytime someone came along and wanted to buy them, I could't resist the lure of a considerable profit. Even though I think they are great, my next one will be an N Line, cannot resist the sexy look of them on the back of a Harley.
I've always liked the look of the N-Line trailers also. The few guys I've known who pulled an N-Line much all said they handled great as well. Having said that going that way would be a difficult choice simply based on cost versus utility. The entry level N-Line is offered with a base price of $2650. The basic Bushtec Roadstar is $2700 and the basic Bushtec Turbo2 is less at $2500.
They're competitively priced to each other. Their dealers might or might deal a little on their prices. The N-Lines handle well; but they can't beat the suspension package on the Bushtecs. So it's a roughtly even comparison on price and ease of use. Roughly even until you got to the raison d'etre for having the trailer; storage.
The Roadstar is Bushtec's smallest at 21 cubic feet. The Turbo2, though cheaper to buy, has a bit more volume at 25 cubic feet. But the N-Line is advertised as having only 11 cubic feet of space.
The N-Line does include a hitch in its price. So it's not a completely apples to apples comparison. But for comparable money you buy less space, a hitch system that is more obtrusive visually and a suspension system that is admittedly good, but not quite as good as the Bushtec's.
