Gas mileage increase????
« on: July 07, 2011, 11:43:26 AM »

When I purchased my Bushtec in Dayton on the way home I was getting 29 mpg on the interstate.  On the way back from New England last week the mileage was up to 39 mpg.  No changes were made with the TTS tuner.  Does the ECM reprogram itself while riding?

It was all down hill.

Or maybe the gas available in only the southbound lane lacked ethanol.

That's not it.  It's that Virginia sucks.  So the vacuum was helping pull the bike out of New England!
