As for drop in cams:  I used the andrews 54 and the cometic .030 head gasket and 2.00 Fullsacs cores along with 96 catless head pipe the K&N filter and TTS Master tune.  Running 102.4 HP and 112.5 TQ.  Bike runs real strong for myself.  As stated there have been several different cams used.  But I used what Steve at Fullsac's suggested and been very happy.

Bruce tuned my bike last year and installed a PC-V at the same time.  I bought the bike used and it had the old SE tuner system which I heard was difficult and labour intensive to work with.

That's too bad.  For $100 or so you could've (still can!) get that old SERT updated to the current TTS setup.  PC-V can't hardly hold a candle to it...

At least that's one good thing about the PCV- if he did decide to upgrade the old SERT, at least he could re-sell the PCV, unlike the other tuners that are married to your ECM.

A friend at work recommended Bruce- says Bruce is the only one that touches his 06 SEUC. I went to Bruce when I first got my bike in 2010. The plan was to get a dyno tune, and although he said he wasn't familiar with my TTS, he told me to bring it in, and he'd work with it. After he did some dyno runs, he said it was running great, and that a custom tune would be a waste of time. At the time, I didn't know if that was true, or if he just said that because he couldn't be bothered playing around with the TTS at the late afternoon appointment. Turns out he was right, because after a second dyno run at Stay Tuned, Don told me the same thing. That's why I'll always recommend the Fullsac package- Steve's map was so good that apparently a dyno tune wouldn't be worth the extra time and money. If I get up the courage, I'll try some V Tune runs this year, just for the hell of it.

I will be interested to see how you like the ride once you get the cams put in. And don't say "summer"- riding season starts in April, which is thankfully getting closer!

I went with the S&S gear driven cams, very happy with them.  Just installed them last fall, so need to get the bike on the dyno this spring.  The "seat of the pants" difference was amazing in the low and mid level torque, front end comes right off the ground!
