New Convertible On Order...
« on: August 09, 2011, 06:24:38 PM »

Howdy,

I ordered a new blue convertible for my wife; she rides a sportster 1200 low today.  I was hoping that I would also be able to ride the bike stripped down from time to time.  How comfortable is this bike for a guy who is 5’11” and about 270 pounds?  My wife is only 5’7” and 145 so I know it will fit her.

First of all, Congratulations!

Secondly, I'm sure you'll find it very comfortable ... if she lets you on it, of course  ;D

Hey there, I am 5'10 , 220 pounds, and the bike fits me great. Not as comfortable as a touring bike, but still good. Rides nice and handles great, just watch the boards on the corners as it sits very low. I think you will love it, if your wife let's you near it! Congrats and ride safe!!!

Did you get the bike yet?  My local dealer says next couple of months before she sees one coming in.

Nope, still looking... Buying two CVO's in one year that the model and color I actually want may be too complicated for HD to deliver.
