I already ordered the LED's. I figure if it is burnt out it's just a matter of time before the others go and while I have it apart better to just do them all. The LED's were really cheep.
Yeah Muddy, you're gonna love the LED's much better....the amt. of light matches the speedo/tach dead on unlike the stock bulbs that were never bright enough to match.  I just wish you'd ordered a couple of extra ones 'cause some have had the unfortunate luck to recieve a bad one in the batch.  Maybe your's will all be good from the git-go.  A great up-grade.  ;) spyder

New bulbs are in and they look great. I wish the speed and tac were as bright.

Since my radio was out for repair, I decided to change the gauge bulbs to LEDs. Ordered bulbs from superbrightleds.com. Simple install, turned them on to test  and they looked great except my oil pressure gauge was BLUE! WTF? Got a good laugh out of that. A big thank you to Spyder, because thanks to his post, I ordered 2 extra bulbs so no big deal, both spares were red. Would not be so funny if I only had 4 bulbs, and had already buttoned up the fairing. They do look great, nice improvement.
Thanks again Spyder, and how's the recovery going, both you and the bike?

Wow, glad you ordered the spares.  At that prices, why not just in case of a situation like you had?  Those little leds really wake up the gauges don't they?  Match the speedo & tach perfectly.  I'm getting a little better ea. day ... just seems like it's taking forever and testing my patience for sure.  The Huckleberry is slowly going back together...no rush 'cause the doc says I can't ride for another month now.  I'm surely gonna be ready to straddle a saddle.  ;D har.  :drink: spyder
