CONGRATULATIONS, TC!!!  I think I could hear those squeals of delight all the way over here!!  I am betting you have it broke in by the 10th and will be joining JCZ and the gang in Atlanta!

Wow, nice photos! I have yet to post photos of mine, it looks suspiciously just like yours! I'll have to get my mug in the photos so I'll know it is my bike. I too did not have any paint issues - one benefit of getting the last of the model year - they finally figured it out. I am curious to know if you have any comfort issues. My only issue is seat/bars relationship. Once sorted out the only other must have, I'll admit, is 6th gear. This thing has gobs of torque and I am sure it will pull 6th with no problem. Roll on power in 5th is awesome, 70 to 90mph is just a twist away. However, the fuel guage needle moves almost as much as the speedometer. Otherwise, it starts right up and I have not noticed any weird wobble/weave. Crosswinds will fight with the fairing, but I am used to that from my other Electraglide. A taller windshield will be next, deciding on what height. Good luck to you and happy riding.

Thanks All!   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

cvTony...I haven't put but 175 miles on her, but the bar/seat/backrest relationship doesn't seem like it's going to be a problem.  Guess I'll know more when I've been there for a couple hundred miles at a time. The bars are in a very "natural" position for me, and the backrest is up against my back fairly snug...might move it forward a notch, but one hole would probably be plenty. 6 speed....hmmmm.............I considered that. The few seconds I've run it up to 3500 rpm, it seems to be running about 80 MPH and the motor seems to be in a good place between 70 and 80.  I'm going to stay with the current windscreen...threre is some buffeting, but most of that is coming because of my 3/4 helmet design...when I put on a 1/2 the helmet's no problem, but the eyes dry out...I wear glasses, so can't just put on a pair of sunglasses (my glasses change though, but don't "seal" my eyes off), but the 1/2 helmet seems more aerodynamic.  The answer is probably a full face, which I have purchased, but yet to try on the HD.  If the screen was much higher, my short a$$ would have trouble seeing over it, I think  ;)  Just got to get some more miles on her, then start thinking about further "tweaks".   [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=banana.gif] [smiley=jalapeno.gif]

Good looking bike....you are right it is an awesome ride...

Your paint looks good in the pictures...the vivid black looks real deep.

I have the same color....wait until you can throttle up, get over 4,000 grand and the bike jumps out of it's tires...better HOLD ON!!!!!!!

Think twice about the six speeds guys....I put one on my 2003 Road King with the 103 Stroker Kit....I have to be doing 70+ to feel like the engine is not lugging.  I ride my SE Ultra with the five speed and the ride is right.

This weekend I rode with three standard Ultras and could see and feel the difference in there shift points compared to mine.  I was still in forth, feeling goog when they were already in fifth.

Do your home work before putting in a six speed.

I've got about 16K miles on mine with the 6sp in it, I think it's great for this bike, I can run it down to 60mph without feeling like it's lugging, and it pulls strong from there right on up til the speedo is pegged and keeps goin, doing a roll-on with a regular Ultra in 5th at 60mph and me in 6th at 60mph, I leave him behind.  I've gotten to where I use 6th on the straighter backroads also.  5th on the interstate now feels like the motor is racing too much, 6th gear just makes it right for me.  It did get better after I opened up the exhaust and intake, as you would expect.

Congrats man.  And glad your paint is OK.  Had the H-D demo fleet at our dealer this weekend and same bike was part of it.  I checked it out real good and its paint looked fine also.

Enjoy!

Congrats, great pics, you can see the black really jumps now.  Glad the paint worked out.
