« on: July 24, 2011, 07:40:01 AM »

I was asked a question,,,that I've actually not known the answer too...

Are the engine parts of a CVO, rockers; springs; crank, etc, etc,,,Screamin Eagle or standard duty stuff..?

The heads, cylinders, pistons, and cam are unique to the CVO. The rest are standard issue except for the motor finish color

Yea...I knew those things were...I wasnt sure about internals like crank or rockers and other valve train stuff...

Going through the SE catalog got me thinking I'd love to see a full SE engine as standard powerplant for the CVO...

So..instead of just throwing in the P&A catalog and limited paint, we'd get a motor that's also driven from the SE parts list. But of course most of that is "off road" only...Hmmm...

At a SE Seminar I attended with Tony Nicosia (HD SE Manager) there. Tony said that the factory SE had a stonger Fly Wheel Press Fit on the Crankshaft than the standard HD motor.
