Just installed Fullsac X pipe, which is ceramic coated. Question: is the pipe's black finish the ceramic coating, or is the ceramic beneath the black coating? If so, is the black coating just heat resistant paint?

If the ceramic is not the black coating, is the ceramic on the inside of the pipe or outside? I looked at several internet sites and couldn't find an answer.

Inquiring minds want to know...

Ceramic coating comes in several colors. We chose black because it has the highest heat rating, 1800 deg.
Its not done with a rattle can. Its sandblasted, sprayed and oven baked.
