SERT Map Needed
« on: June 03, 2006, 11:59:14 PM »

Does anyone have a SERT map for the 06 SEUC that will run with the stock mufflers, V&H Dresser Duels and the SE Air Filter that they care to share.  As I would like to put my stock Pipes back on when my wife goes with me on long trips.
I tried to save the The stock Cal # 32876-06B but found out that was impossible with the sert as it only goes one way.

Yeah you can't save the stock map, you should probably load #36, it's setup for the SE Air Cleaner and should work fine with the pipes your running.  If you don't have Map #36 let me know and I'll get it for ya....

That's what I did is loaded map #36 but if I stick my stock exhaust back on (which I've not tried it yet) won't it run too RICH? One of the dyno guys at the dealership said that the stock exhaust does not have an O2 sensor port and the way the inside of the exhaust is can't stick the sensor in far enough the do the dyno right.  Would have to weld a O2 plug on the pipe I guess to properly dyno it.

It might run a little richer, but not enough to worry about (might actually be right instead of a little lean).

No you can't save (download) a map that exists on the ECM already, only upload maps to it.

There ya go addin stuff after I replied.......

Some pipes I understand they need to drill in to get the sensor far enough in the pipe, I haven't tried but I understand the V&H Ovals are one of those.

FR8TRN, ever get your bike dyno'd or still running #36?  Heading up to Americade on Wed (then on to Laconia).  Thinking about having Dr. Dyno do mine.  Know or heard anything about him?  Thanks.

I heard that!  Must say mine runs well also.  Just sometimes the OCD takes control and you feel like ya gotta do something.  Know what I mean.  Probably should leave well enough alone.  If it ain't broke don' break it, huh.

Jerry,

Check out this thread - American Iron did a multiple part article on dyno testing and tuning, and Dr. Dyno was the guy involved.  Haven't heard anything negative about him, and he seems to really know his stuff.  http://flhrsei.org/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?num=1149261656
