Klock Werks Flare Windshield
« on: May 17, 2011, 12:09:20 PM »

Installed the 8.5" version and took a short ride yesterday. At first glance it appears to provide a nicer 'bubble' than my stock windshield. Anybody else tried it?

Replaced the stock 10" with the 8.5" on my SEUC.  Frankly can't really tell much difference, other than seeing over the screen.  Most of the turbulance seems to be from the wind coming up from beneath the faring rather than over the top, imho.

I recently replaced a KW 6.5" with the KW 8.5"  There was a marked difference between the two, but still more wind noise and buffeting with latter than I hoped.   I'm 6' with about 32" inseem.  The 6.5 put the wind into my forehead.  The 8.5 puts it right at the top of my helmet.  Maybe KW will make a 9.5"???

had a 8.5" klock works installed at sturgis, to replace the 10.5" harley shield. Anything under 50 mph and you don't notice any change. It's at hwy speeds of 60 and up where this windshield shined for me. My '04 seec seemed to handle better in the fast sweepers as well.No front end wobbles.

I have had the 8.5 KW on mine for over a year and love it.
