HD Radio
« on: September 04, 2011, 10:22:47 AM »

Has anyone figured out a way to add a HD radio tuner to the stock HK sound system? I was just wondering.

Thanks.

Sounds like he wants to listen to HD (High Def not Harley-Davidson) channels through the HK radio.  I still use XM and I haven't listened to HD radio yet because I really hate commercials.  Would be nice to know how it turns out.

A portable unit?? Hopefully.....That would be the same as listening to an MP3 player, IPOD, or portable XM unit through the stock head unit. Output of the portable unit plugged into the aux input on the face of the headunit. or have Iron Cross Audio modify the stock head unit with a rear mounted aux jack so you won't have the wire connected in the front for a cleaner look.

An internal HD tuner--no......

Yeah I am looking for a portable unit cheap. The xm radio from the 665 is fine but expensive. Just looking for something else to listen to going down the road.
