Renewing Harley Extended Service Plan on my 05
« on: September 06, 2011, 05:55:29 PM »

I have a 7 year warrenty that is due to run out in just a few weeks.
I have been notified by Harley that I can renew it if I have not let it expire (which I have not) and have less than 75,000 (I do have less than that).

Has anyone renewed this far in and found a dealer willing to offer a discount on the warrenty?
I see that Jenni is not currently with a dealership.

I called tri county and spoke to Rebecca who said I had to deal with Ken in Finance.  He said he could not offer a discount.
I called Zanotti and spoke to John and he was no help.

I am looking for real experience from someone who has renewed with a discount after having the bike for 5+ years.

Thanks
Steve

Mine lapsed last year on my '05. If they had notified me that it was lapsing I would of probably renewed. Dealer F & I guy called me last week out of the blue and offered a multiple year option policy @ HOG Chapt. member 15% off. Lost the brochure so I can't give you the plan details but it was, to my remembrance, the same coverage as what your being offered. Had a wheel and tire option too. They know the bike well so they told me I wouldn't need an inspection.
