Don't know what made me think of this a few minutes ago.  Hadn't seen the movie in a few years.  Absolutely the best chase ever put on film.  And nothing has ever been cooler than Steve McQueen.  For your viewing pleasure:

Another good one was with the guy from the movie Jaws, Snyder I believe? The Cop Movie called 7 Ups, the car chase scene was a little better filmed in NY, the driver of the Charger was the same bad guy in this movie I believe?

Great clip. Vanishing Point was another great car chase flick. Don't forget the cheezy Smoky and the Bandit movies either. Bullitt hwoever was definitely the pinnacle.

Yea, a 68, 67 and 68 looked almost identical, except for the side scoops, 67 had fins in the scoops and 68 didn't. My first car was a 67 coupe with a 6 banger 3 speed. Great video!

Great movie, just wished they would re-do the soundtrack and re-release it. Hard to believe the sound track actually got nominated for an academy.
One of the stunt drivers also did some for the "Fonzie" stuff.

How about Dirty Mary Crazy Larry for a chase?
